Sumitomo Chemical and Nufarm reach toll manufacturing agreement (PDF 76KB)


Nufarm Australia and Sumitomo Chemical Australia Pty Ltd (SCAL) have reached agreement on new toll manufacturing arrangements for a number of Sumitomo Chemical’s products in Australia. The agreement covers six of Sumitomo Chemical’s proprietary products which Nufarm Australia will formulate and package for SCAL to distribute. The arrangements will come into place immediately.

Nufarm providing endosulfan alternatives (PDF 118KB)


In mid-October the APVMA announced that all registrations of endosulfan were cancelled. Nufarm Australia has been working closely with industry to find practical and effective replacement products, with a number of potential endosulfan replacements available to the tropical vegetable, fruit and nut growers.

Nufarm introduces new Digger fungicide (PDF 50KB)


The final component of Nufarm’s Power Yield program is now in place with the release of new Digger fungicide.
Containing 250g/L difenoconazole as the active constituent, this Group 3 DMI chemistry complements the other fungicide components that make up the Power Yield program – Filan, Polyram DF and Aero.
