The APVMA has approved permit PER10571 for Dimethoate, for use in Durian, Mangosteen & Rambutan in the states of ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS and WA from 01-04-2008 to 31-03-2013. See attached permit for conditions of use.

To assist Australian vegetable growers in spray application of fungicides in disease control programs Nufarm has developed a double sided A3 chart. One side contains information on fungicide selection and diseases controlled in major vegetable crops. On the reverse is a comprehensive guide to spray application of fungicides and nozzle selection. Permit 8819 : Use date extension of permit for the control of Sclerotinia in brassicas, brassica leafy vegetable, lettuce and green beans - Filan (boscalid)
The permit is applicable for all States (other than Victoria) and is now in effect from October 10th 2005 until October 31st 2009.
Nufarm is in the process of completing research and development activities that will ultimatly enable these crops to be registered.
A copy of the permit is attached.

Filan, containing 500g/kg boscalid is a Group G fungicide registered for the control of Botrytis in grapevines. The attached spectrum note provides details of usage for grape growers producing grapes for wine for export markets allowing them to make an informed decision for its usage. Growers should note restrictions outlined are not applicable for grapes grown for domestic wine production.
