Comet 400: The New Shining Star in Broadleaf Weed Control
|
Now there’s a new shining star against difficult to control broadleaf weeds especially in the non crop areas of forestry and vegetation management. Introducing Comet 400 from Nufarm, the most powerful comet ever, allowing you to treat double the area with the same amount of product.
Comet 400 is the new more powerful Fluroxypyr formulation developed by Nufarm Australia for use in tough Australian conditions. According to Business Manager Damien Deckert, the new Comet 400 formulation has enabled Nufarm to double the active loading to 400g/L from the previous 200g/L formulation.
This higher loaded product will deliver some significant benefits to rural distributors, Australian farmers, foresters and vegetation management contractors alike. The new more powerful 400g/L formulation will mean that users can treat double the area with the same amount of product that would have previously been used with a 200g/L formulation.
Mr Deckert highlighted that as well as delivering improved efficiencies, Comet 400 also provides outstanding control on a wide range of harder to kill broadleaf weeds.
Nufarm has long been recognised as the market leader in Australian crop and non crop protection by delivering new technologies.
Mr Deckert points out that this commitment to improving and developing new products and systems has lead to another exciting breakthrough with the launch of the new 60 litre returnable Envirodrum.
“The new 60 litre pack with a translucent body is set to take delivery systems of agricultural products to a new level. In the current environment, Australian growers are looking at ways to be able to increase the efficiencies of their operations,” he said
The combination of the higher loaded formulation and convenient 60 litre pack size will benefit growers with less product to store, handle and transport.
To complement the new 60 litre pack, Comet 400 will also be available in 10 litre plastic containers making product easier to handle both in store and on farm.
