Nufarm Introduces New Assert® FL herbicide
|

For the first time, Assert FL combines the trusted performance of the most powerful rate of Assert wild oat herbicide with Frontline* technology, the highest standard in broadleaf weed control in cereals. The result is the best performing, best value Assert combination for wild oat and broadleaf weed control in wheat and barley.
“We realized that a high percentage of Assert acres were being tank mixed with Frontline”, notes Matthews. “With our manufacturing efficiencies available through our Calgary plant it
made sense to package the two products together. We can now price the new product at
significant savings compared to purchasing the two products separately or purchasing other broadleaf products with Assert.

Raising the standard: With Assert FL, growers will receive a new standardized package of the most powerful Assert rate to provide consistent wild oat control up to the 6-leaf stage.
Research has proven the combination of Frontline technology with Assert demonstrates
outstanding results, combining three sites of action on broadleaf weeds. Assert FL controls
wild oats, cleavers, hempnettle, chickweed, wild buckwheat, kochia, Russian thistle, stinkweed, lamb’s-quarters, volunteer canola and redroot pigweed.
