Archer Product Information

Herbicide for the control of certain broadleaf weeds in a wide range of crops.



Archer® offers many benefits including:

  • Can be tank mixed with Baton®, Relay® Super S and Agritone® 750 to control large or hard to kill thistles with phenoxy resistance

  • Excellent control of yarrow, thistles and volunteer potatoes in cereal and maize crops

  • Ryegrasses, cereals and forage brassicas can be drilled any time after application

300g/L clopyralid as the amine salt in the form of a soluble concentrate
Plastic 1, 5 and 20L

Archer is a broadleaf herbicide for control of Californian Thistle, yarrow, volunteer potatoes and other thistles in pasture, fodder brassicas, fodder and sugar beets, cereals, maize and in conservation tillage.

Weeds controlled:


Californian Thistle, Yarrow, Volunteer potatoes, Clover, Ragwort, Thistles, Bathurst Bur

Compatibility:


Archer is compatible with most commonly used herbicides and cereal fungicides and insecticides. Refer to product labels for applicable timing and with holding periods.

Plant back periods:


Brassicas, cereal and ryegrass crops may be drilled any time after application of Archer.
Do not plant susceptible crops (clover, peas, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, cucurbits) within 12 weeks of applying up to 0.5 litres/ha of Archer. Where more than 0.5 litres/ha is applied do not plant susceptible crops within 6-12 months of treatment without sowing a small area first to check soil residues.
