Don McGauchie joins Nufarm Board
|
Nufarm Limited announced today the appointment of Mr Donald McGauchie as a non-executive director. Mr McGauchie will attend his first Board meeting in February.
Mr McGauchie is a former President of the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) and currently holds a number of prominent directorships, including the Reserve Bank of Australia, James Hardie Industries and National Foods.
He also chairs the Rural Finance Corporation of Victoria and is a former director of the Australian Centre for International Agriculture Research.
Nufarm’s Chairman, Mr Kerry Hoggard, welcomed Mr McGauchie’s appointment, saying he will bring a wealth of relevant experience in the rural sector; a strong set of agribusiness and general commercial skills; and a valuable political network to the Nufarm Board.
“I have no doubt that he will make a very strong contribution at Board level as Nufarm continues its global expansion in the crop protection business.”
