Application timing

Maintaining a regular protectant spray program is important. Acrobat SC, together with its tank mixture partner, must be applied as a protectant treatment before infection takes place and the disease has penetrated the plant.

When using protectant fungicides it is extremely important to ensure plant tissue is fully covered as fungal pathogens will penetrate unprotected plant areas. Spray intervals depend on the residual properties of the fungicide, plant growth (new plant tissue is not
protected after application), weather and overhead irrigation events.

Crop
Spray sequence
Spray interval
Cucurbits
Lettuce
Potatoes

Apply a maximum of 2 consecutive sprays of Acrobat SC
7 to 10 days apart.
Use the shorter intervals when conditions favouring infection are creating high risk. Under resistance management guidelines a maximum of 4 Acrobat SC applications can be applied per crop.

Grapevines
Apply a maximum of 3 consecutive sprays of Acrobat SC
7 to 14 days apart.
Use the shorter intervals when conditions favouring infection are creating high risk. Under resistance management guidelines a maximum of 6 Acrobat SC applications can be applied per season.

Onions
Apply a maximum of 2 consecutive sprays of Acrobat SC
7 to 10 days apart.
Use the shorter intervals when conditions favouring infection are creating high risk. Under resistance management guidelines a maximum of 4 Acrobat SC applications can be applied per crop.

Poppies
Apply a maximum of 2 consecutive sprays of Acrobat SC during the late run-up to hook stage
10 days apart.
Under resistance management guidelines a maximum of 2 Acrobat SC applications can be applied per crop, and do not apply later than early flowering stage.
