Spring broad-leaved weed control with Pike
|
Launched two years ago, Pike is a top quality metsulfuron-methyl based herbicide from Nufarm. It is now fully proven in the field with two trouble-free seasons of use. Pike controls a wide spectrum of cereal broad-leaved weeds and is an ideal tank-mixer to form the basis of a spring weed control programme
For those species not controlled by sulphonyl urea products, such as Pike, Nufarm has a comprehensive range of broadleaved weed herbicides. All cereal herbicides have their strengths and weaknesses. Nufarm have the products to cover most broad-leaved weed situations.
Always read the label especially regarding use of Pike in sequences following other SU products. If in doubt contact your advisor. All the other products listed below can be used following an autumn applied sulphonyl urea product

Pike was equal or even slightly better than the leading metsulfuron-methyl brand both in the greenhouse shown here and in the field trials.
