Under the EU registration process straight chlorotoluron products are currently under revocation. Last sales by agchem distributor to the end user is Aug 31st 2010. All straight chlorotoluron must be used up by 31st Aug 2011
Mixture products such as Buckler (chlorotoluron + diflufenican) are unaffected at present
Nufarm continue to invest heavily in the re-registration of this important molecule. It is hoped Nufarm will gain re-registration in the near future

New weed identification chart from Nufarm
|
With many new agronomy trainees and young farmers entering the industry now, Nufarm have produced a weed seedling identification chart which is available to download. It is always difficult to identify young broadleaved weeds. This chart shows over 50 weeds species at a growth stage when many herbicides are applied. It is often the case that weeds in the same family are susceptible to the same herbicide. Nufarm have colour coded each species according to the family it belongs to

Pixie- A product containing mecoprop which you can use in the autumn
|
Straight mecoprop-p can no longer be used from October 1st to March 1st the following year. Pixie contains mecoprop-p and diflufenican and it can be used in the autumn and early spring on winter wheat and winter barley up to growth stage 24.
