Difcor oilseed rape
|
The Nufarm oilseed rape trial this year confirmed the yield benefits from using Difcor. Containing difenconazole, Difcor is one of the top products to prevent the development of Phoma and Light leaf spot. Difcor was applied at two reduced rates in spring and autumn.
A yield increase of 0.5 t/ha was achieved with the higher of the two rates. Both rates of Difcor gave a substantial economic return over the cost of the spray
Autumn treatment is important. especially in mild damp autumn conditions. Early November is the best time when spore release and infection is occurring. This coincides with one of the most vulnerable time of the rape crop when the early apical development is taking place
