The guiding principles of the Chemical Industry Association's responsible care programme are:
-To operate in line with the best practice of the industry
-To reflect a continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental policies
-To make available to employees, customers and the public all relevant information about activities that affect health, safety and the environment
In addition, we have a responsibility to ensure that the use of phenoxy herbicides poses no unreasonable risks to people and the environment. While these particular herbicides are among the most thoroughly researched products of their kind, ongoing studies, including toxicology, and ecotoxicology, monitor any environmental effects. Information derived from these studies contributes to our recommendations for the continued safe use of phenoxy herbicides
Our approach to our business is one of total responsibility- not least to the local communities in which our facilities are located. Through innovative waste reduction techniques and advanced treatment programmes, we place high priority on responsible environmental management , to fully comply with local and European environmental legislation and to strive to be a good neighbour
