Many farmers will mourne the loss of IPU which is now under phased revocation. The revocation timetable is set out below. This effectively gives 2 more seasons of use after which IPU cannot be used or even stored on farm

The last date when IPU products can be purchased from your agchem distributor
30th June 2009
All IPU containing products must be used up and cannot be used or stored on farm after this date

Maximum IPU dose rate and recommended crops
|
The maximum permissible rate of IPU has dropped from 2500g/ha to 1500g/ha. This is the maximum total dose and tank-mixes must not exceed the 1500g/ha limit. There have been no changes to the recommended crops on the label

Weeds controlled with 1500g/ha
|
Straight IPU retains Annual Meadow-grass Chickweed, Mayweed, Charlock and other broadleaved weeds on the label. IPU can make a major contribution to broadleaved weed and grassweed control when used in tank-mix or sequence with other products. Contact your agronomist for more information
