Pentangle, an ideal T0 winter wheat fungicide treatment

In most springs there is a long gap between the commencement of spring growth in winter wheat and the traditional T1 fungicide application, allowing the development of overwintered diseases. A good and cost-effective treatment is needed to fill this gap. Pentangle is the ideal fungicide for this purpose.

Every year Nufarm carry out a number of commercial development trials in order to support our products. The trial below was carried out in Lincolnshire in 2009 and shows the benefit of a T0 treatment. Pentangle was applied prior to the normal T1 treatment and was then followed up by a standard fungicide epoxyconazole based programme at T1 and T2. The T0 treatment containing Pentangle, gave up to 0.8 tonne/ha yield benefit.
