NUFARM COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF ETIGRA

BURR RIDGE, IL – Nufarm announced today the completion of its acquisition of Etigra, a privately owned supplier of crop protection products focused on the turf and specialty sectors. The transaction, announced in March, was finalized this week following U.S. regulatory approval.
Etigra generated some US$34 million in annual revenues from a product portfolio comprising 50 registrations. Nufarm has acquired the registrations, customer lists and certain other assets and business. Some 26 former Etigra employees have transferred to Nufarm.
The acquisition joins together two complementary portfolios. The combination of Nufarm’s predominantly herbicide product line and Etigra’s complementary strength in fungicides and insecticides creates a combined company better able to meet the broad needs of customers. The move also accelerates Nufarm’s position in the turf and specialty segment by providing additional products and a complementary distribution platform.
