Nufarm Receives EPA Registration for Four New Clopyralid Products: Garrison™,
Clean Slate™, Cutback™ and Cutback™M

Burr Ridge, IL – Nufarm Americas, Inc. announces that they have been granted federal EPA registration for a new line of end-use herbicide products based upon the active ingredient, clopyralid. This selective, pyridine herbicide is known for its outstanding control of tough broadleaf weeds, including Canada thistle, common cocklebur and kudzu, in a variety of crop and non-crop situations.
Nufarm branded clopyralid end-use products will be sold and marketed in the agricultural and
industrial vegetation management markets. Garrison™ will be positioned for use in sugar beets and corn, Cutback™ and Cutback™ M for small grains, and Clean Slate™ for IVM and pasture and rangeland applications.
“Clopyralid products are highly complementary to our current herbicide product portfolio including phenoxy, glyphosate, dicamba and bromoxynil products,” notes Tim Stoehr, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “Nufarm is excited about providing our customers with
additional weed control options for the various markets that we service.”
Garrison™ will be packaged in 4 x .5 gallon cases, Cutback™ and Cutback™ M in 2 x 2.5 galloncases and 30-gallon drums, and Clean Slate™ in 4 x .5 gallon and 2 x 2.5 gallon cases. The state registration process is underway with several states having already granted approval.
