BURR RIDGE, IL (October 26, 2007) -- Working to deliver additional convenience to customers, Nufarm Americas launched Quincept™ on October 25, opening day of the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE – booth #7028) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. A multi-action and selective post-emergent herbicide, Quincept combines grassy and broadleaf weed control in one convenient and affordable formulation.
“Quincept is an ideal new post-emergent that will give our customers many options to consider throughout the season. It combines an ideal ratio of the active ingredients quinclorac, 2,4-D, and dicamba, to effectively control tough grasses, including crabgrass, and over 200 broadleaf weeds,” said Tim Birkel, U.S. product manager who will oversee Quincept.
“Whether it is cleaning up a poorly maintained property, spraying an area that did not receive a pre-emergent herbicide treatment, or going to battle with your typical mid-summer weed escapes, Quincept is a viable solution. Crabgrass and tough mid-summer weeds such as spurge and oxalis are a problem for even some of the most highly maintained properties. Quincept provides the convenience of an all-in-one formulation that delivers enough of each active ingredient to control virtually any weed an applicator will come across, at a price that makes sense.”
