BURR RIDGE, IL (October 26, 2007) -- When Nufarm Americas introduces Spoiler™ to the market, customers will be able to take advantage of the highest loaded three-way phenoxy mix available on the market today. The new post-emergent herbicide was on display October 25, opening day of the Green Industry and Equipment Expo (GIE – booth #7028) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
“Spoiler is the ultimate phenoxy three-way combination for turf and ornamental lawns. It is a very efficient product and it delivers twice the 2, 4-D load of Triamine at the 48 oz. rate,” said Tim Birkel, U.S. product manager for Spoiler. “With a high rate of three different amines, Spoiler delivers unsurpassed broadleaf weed control, plus it offers a reduced risk to ornamentals and dicamba sensitive plants. It not only gives you plenty of bang for the buck, but it also gives you options depending upon your situation.”
Spoiler’s rate range allows for delivery rates at varying levels of weed pressure and reduced packaging. Without dicamba in the mix, Spoiler has reduced herbicide persistence in the soil, increased safety for shallow-rooted woody plants and within the dripline of trees, and applications to vines on tree trunks.
Spoiler may be applied through most standard sprayers after dissolution and thorough mixing with water according to label instructions. It is available through normal distribution channels.
